A School of Schools: Transcending the Bauhaus

A School of Schools was first developed in the context of the 4th Istanbul Design Biennial which took place in the autumn of 2018. After that, the exhibition has been installed at LUMA, Arles and at C-mine in Genk. This interview is a conversation between the main curator, Jan Boelen, and co-curator, Nadine Botha. They discuss the topics of the exhibition, the relation between design, education, learning, the legacy of the Bauhaus and how the exhibition itself has evolved over the different presentations.
